Calgary Climate Week is six days of ideas, action, and connection. From executive-level strategy to open community conversations, the program brings together energy leaders, policymakers, innovators, and citizens around a shared challenge: building a lower-carbon future that works for Calgary and for the world.

Opening Reception: June 1, 2026

Calgary Climate Week begins the evening of June 1 at The Ampersand. The Opening Reception sets the tone for the week ahead with remarks, a keynote presentation featuring Nicky Swan, and the energy of a city coming together around a shared purpose. Tickets Required.

Executive Forum: June 2-3, 2026

The flagship event of Calgary Climate Week. Held over two days from June 2-3, the Executive Forum convenes senior leaders from energy, finance, and policy for high-level dialogue on the decisions shaping our energy transition. Featuring keynote addresses, expert panels, and facilitated conversations, this is where strategy meets accountability.  Pre-purchased ticket required. Spaces limited.

Calgary Climate Symposium: June 4-5, 2026

Open to everyone. The Climate Symposium at The Brownstone and Offsite is a public program of talks, workshops, and discussions exploring the ideas, technologies, and communities driving climate action. No credentials required, just curiosity.  Free Admission.

Tours: Various Dates

See Calgary’s energy future up close. Climate Week tours offer behind-the-scenes access to the infrastructure, projects, and sites transforming how this city produces, uses, and thinks about energy. Space is limited on each tour. Registration Required. See Schedule for Details.

Indigenous Arts and Culture Event

Calgary Climate Week closes on June 6 with an evening dedicated to Indigenous arts and culture. This closing event honors the knowledge, relationships, and perspectives that are essential to any meaningful conversation about land, energy, and the future. Details to be announced.

Community Partner Events: Various Dates

Dozens of community organizations, businesses, and institutions are hosting their own events throughout the week, from film screenings and workshops to networking receptions and public art installations.
